آنکھوں سے خون اپنے یہ کہتا نہیں نہ جائے

پر ساتھ اس کے لپٹا ہوا دل کہیں نہ جائے

اتنی تو چاہئے تجھے پاس شکستہ دل

جو آوے تیرے یاں سو وہ اندوہگیں نہ جائے

صبر و قرار و ہوش و خرد سب کے سب یہ جائیں

پر داغ عشق سینہ سے اے ہم نشیں نہ جائے

دیر و حرم میں جا کے جو چاہے پھر آ سکے

پر آوے جو گلی میں تری وہ کہیں نہ جائے

ہم گریہ ناک ہیں یہ سدا سے ہے عیب پوش

آنکھوں سے دور اپنے کہیں آستیں نہ جائے

ہے پارۂ عقیق جگر دیکھیو کہیں

اے چشم تیرے ہاتھ سے ایسا نگیں نہ جائے

نکلے نہ جان تن سے حسنؔ کی تو تب تلک

جب تک تو اس کے سر پہ دم واپسیں نہ جائے
