دروازہ شہر گل کا ہوا وا تو کیا ہوا

زنداں کا در ہے اس سے زیادہ کھلا ہوا

خس کو ہوا نصیب ہوئی اور بنا خدنگ

انساں کو اختیار ملا اور خدا ہوا

تو زندگی کے رخ پہ تبسم کی ایک رو

میں وقت کی مژہ پہ اک آنسو رکا ہوا

آسودگیٔ حال کا امکان ان دنوں

پیوند ہے قبا کی شکن میں چھپا ہوا

کس غم کو اب تعلق خاطر کا نام دیں

اب کوئی غم نہیں ہے کسی سے چھپا ہوا
