کسی تھکن کو سخن بنا لوں یہی بہت ہے

میں چند فرصت کے پل بچا لوں یہی بہت ہے

ہنر کا حق تو ہوا کی بستی میں کون دے گا

ادھر میں اپنا دیا جلا لوں یہی بہت ہے

یہ ہجر کے زخم بھی بڑے لالہ کار دل ہیں

میں گھر کے رنگوں سے گھر سجا لوں یہی بہت ہے

وہ عارفان سبق کہاں اب جو دل بڑھائیں

میں سچ لکھوں حرف کی دعا لوں یہی بہت ہے

تھمی نہ یلغار وقت کہتا ہی رہ گیا میں

ابھی میں اتنا ہی بوجھ اٹھا لوں یہی بہت ہے
