دل جلا آنکھیں جلیں جی جل گیا

عشق نے کیا کیا ہمیں دکھلائے داغ

دل جگر جل کر ہوئے ہیں دونوں ایک

درمیاں آیا ہے جب سے پائے داغ

منفعل ہیں لالہ و شمع و چراغ

ہم نے بھی کیا عاشقی میں کھائے داغ

وہ نہیں اب میرؔ جو چھاتی جلے

کھا گیا سارے جگر کو ہائے داغ
