تپش کی یاں تئیں دل نے کہ درد شانہ ہوا

جہاں کو فتنے سے خالی کبھو نہیں پایا

ہمارے وقت میں تو آفت زمانہ ہوا

خلش نہیں کسو خواہش کی رات سے شاید

سرکش یاس کے پردے میں دل روانہ ہوا

ہم اپنے دل کی چلے دل ہی میں لیے یاں سے

ہزار حیف سر حرف اس سے وا نہ ہوا

کھلا نشے میں جو پگڑی کا پیچ اس کی میرؔ

سمند ناز پہ ایک اور تازیانہ ہوا
