ترے عشق میں آگے سودا ہوا تھا

پر اتنا بھی ظالم نہ رسوا ہوا تھا

خزاں التفات اس پہ کرتی بجا تھی

یہ غنچہ چمن میں ابھی وا ہوا تھا

کہاں تھا تو اس طور آنے سے میرے

گلی میں تری کل تماشا ہوا تھا

گئی ہوتی سر آبلوں کے پہ ہوئی خیر

بڑا قضیہ خاروں سے برپا ہوا تھا

گریباں سے تب ہاتھ اٹھایا تھا میں نے

مری اور داماں صحرا ہوا تھا

زہے طالع اے میرؔ ان نے یہ پوچھا

کہاں تھا تو اب تک تجھے کیا ہوا تھا
