میں اگر رونے لگوں رتبۂ والا بڑھ جائے

پانی دینے سے نہال قد بالا بڑھ جائے

جوش وحشت یہی کہتا ہے نہایت کم ہے

دو جہاں سے بھی اگر وسعت صحرا بڑھ جائے

قمریاں دیکھ کے گلزار میں دھوکہ کھائیں

طوق منت کا جو اے سرو تمنا بڑھ جائے

ہاتھ پر ہاتھ اگر مار کے دوڑوں باہم

راہ الفت میں قدم قیس سے میرا بڑھ جائے

داغ پر داغ سے اے برقؔ مجھے راحت ہے

درد کم ہو تو شب ہجر میں ایذا بڑھ جائے
