چار شخص آپس میں تھے اک روز مصروف نماز

بول اٹھا ان میں سے ناگہاں ایک مرد حیلہ باز

دوسرے صاحب نے فرمایا کہ او نادان چپ

بات تو نے کس لئے کی ہو گئی فاسد نماز

تیسرے صاحب یہ بولے بات کی تو اس نے کی

بولتا ہے کس لئے تو ہی بڑا ہے جلدباز

گفتگو سن کر یہ فرمانے لگے ان کے امام

شکر ہے میں کچھ نہیں بولا ہوئی میری نماز

chaar shaKHs aapas mein the ek roz masruf-e-namaz
bol uTha un mein se na-gahan ek mard-e-hila-baz
dusre sahab ne farmaya ki o nadan chup
baat tu ne kis liye ki ho gai fasid namaz
tisre sahab ye bole baat ki to us ne ki
bolta hai kis liye tu hi baDa hai jald-baz
guftugu sun kar ye farmane lage un ke imam
shukr hai main kuchh nahin bola hui meri namaz
