خدا کرے کہ مرا فن بھی میرا فن نہ رہے
دلوں کے پھول تبسم کے پھول پیار کے پھول
کھلیں یہ پھول تو پھر برق کا چلن نہ رہے
نگاہ بھر کے مجھے دیکھ جام بھر کے پلا
مری جبیں پہ غم دہر کی شکن نہ رہے
تمہارے قبضۂ قدرت میں مہر و ماہ سہی
مگر یہ کیا کہ مرے پاس اک کرن نہ رہے

dilon ke phul tabassum ke phul pyar ke phul
khilen ye phul to phir barq ka chalan na rahe
nigah bhar ke mujhe dekh jam bhar ke pila
meri jabin pe gham-e-dahr ki shikan na rahe
tumhaare qabza-e-qudrat mein mehr-o-mah sahi
magar ye kya ki mere pas ek kiran na rahe
