دھوپ میں سب رنگ گہرے ہو گئے
تتلیوں کے پر سنہرے ہو گئے
سامنے دیوار پر کچھ داغ تھے
غور سے دیکھا تو چہرے ہو گئے
اب نہ سن پائیں گے ہم دل کی پکار
سنتے سنتے کان بہرے ہو گئے
اب کسی کی یاد بھی آتی نہیں
دل پہ اب فکروں کے پہرے ہو گئے
آؤ علویؔ اب تو اپنے گھر چلیں
دن بہت دلی میں ٹھہرے ہو گئے
