منزلیں راستوں کے ماتم میں
زندگی دم بہ دم یہی طوفاں
تم ہراساں ہوئے ذرا دم میں
خاک پیروں تلے وہی لیکن
سانس لیتے ہیں اور عالم میں
رات رانی سا تو مہکتا ہے
میری یادوں کے سبز البم میں
ایک شمع امید جیسا تو
اس پگھلتی ہوئی شب غم میں
