تجھ کو آواز سے سمجھوں کہ بیاں سے دیکھوں
معتبر کیا ہے بتا تجھ کو کہاں سے دیکھوں
آب دیدہ ہوں میں خود زخم جگر سے اپنے
تیری آنکھوں میں چھپا درد کہاں سے دیکھوں
اس کھلی آنکھ پہ کھلتے نہیں اسرار ترے
تو چھپا ہے تو تجھے چشم نہاں سے دیکھوں
میں نے چاہا تھا صنم بن کے تو آنکھوں میں رہے
تو نے چاہا میں تجھے چشم بتاں سے دیکھوں
ہر طرف تیر برستے ہیں نشانہ میں ہوں
لوٹ آتی ہے نظر خود پہ جہاں سے دیکھوں
اس طرح دل میں اتر جا نہ رہے کچھ باقی
تو ہی تو ہو میری نظروں میں جہاں سے دیکھوں
