کار آسان کو دشوار بنا جاتا ہے

واہمہ کوئی بھی ہو کام دکھا جاتا ہے

کھلنے لگتے ہیں نگاہوں پہ جب اسرار و رموز

دل مجھے لے کے کہیں اور چلا جاتا ہے

گھر میں رہنا مرا گویا اسے منظور نہیں

جب بھی آتا ہے نیا کام بتا جاتا ہے

سادہ رکھنے سے صدا دیتا ہے قرطاس مجھے

لفظ لکھ دوں تو مری ساکھ گرا جاتا ہے

عشق نے ایسا بنایا ہے جہاں دار مجھے

ہر خسارہ مری سوچوں میں سما جاتا ہے

آؤ ہم پہلے تعلق کو سمجھ لیں محسنؔ

رنجشیں ہوں تو مراسم کا مزا جاتا ہے
