وہ ہے آگ وہ پانی ہے

سب کی ایک کہانی ہے

ان کھنڈرات کے نیچے بھی

جاری نقل مکانی ہے

کوئی میری عمر بتائے

بچپن ہے کہ جوانی ہے

آئینے ہیں گرد آلود

اور خطہ بارانی ہے

گھر کا نقشہ ہے تیار

اب زنجیر بنانی ہے

ہاتھ ہمارے زخمی ہیں

اور چٹان گرانی ہے

کوئی سپنا بھی دیکھو

ویرانی ویرانی ہے

میرے گھر کا سناٹا

میری ہی بے دھیانی ہے

ہجر کو ہجر نہ کہنا بھی

محسنؔ بے ایمانی ہے
