بساط ذات پتھرائی تو جانا
خبر اخبار میں آئی تو جانا
سفر آساں نہیں ہے پانیوں کا
جو تلوے آ گئی کائی تو جانا
لہو کیا چیز ہے اظہار کیا ہے
غزل کچھ اور بل کھائی تو جانا
تو وہ بھی جھوٹ چہرہ جی رہا تھا
جو اس کی آنکھ بھر آئی تو جانا
وراثت ساری اپنے نام کر لی
مگر اس نے مجھے بھائی تو جانا
گھروندے میں بھی اک آتش کدہ تھا
ہماری جاں پہ بن آئی تو جانا
تھی محسنؔ یہ بھی جنس نا مبارک
ہوئی شہرت کی رسوائی تو جانا

KHabar aKHbar mein aai to jaana
safar aasan nahin hai paniyon ka
jo talwe aa gai kai to jaana
lahu kya chiz hai izhaar kya hai
ghazal kuchh aur bal khai to jaana
to wo bhi jhuT-chehra ji raha tha
jo us ki aankh bhar aai to jaana
wirasat sari apne nam kar li
magar us ne mujhe bhai to jaana
gharaunde mein bhi ek aatish-kada tha
hamari jaan pe ban aai to jaana
thi 'mohsin' ye bhi jins-e-na-mubarak
hui shohrat ki ruswai to jaana
