اداس لگتا نہیں ہوں اداس ہو کر بھی

خدا کی طرح کوئی آدمی بھی ہے شاید

نظر جو آتا نہیں آس پاس ہو کر بھی

نمو کی روشنی لے کر اگا ہوں صحرا میں

میں سبز ہو نہیں سکتا ہوں گھاس ہو کر بھی

وجود وہم بنا مٹ گیا مگر پھر بھی

تمہارے پاس نہیں ہوں قیاس ہو کر بھی

یہ آدمی پہ حکومت تمہیں مبارک ہو

فقیر کیسے چھپے خوش لباس ہو کر بھی
