ہجر ہوں پورا ہجر ہوں عشق وصال کرے

دل کی دھڑکن تال ہو جسم دھمال کرے

دیکھوں اس کی چاندنی چاند سے بھی شفاف

اور سنہری روشنی اپنا جمال کرے

گندم جیسے رنگ پر کالی چادر تان

گیتوں جیسی زندگی بے سر تال کرے

منظر سے جو دور ہیں ان پر کرے نگاہ

دھیان سے پہلے دیکھنا وہی کمال کرے

اس کا اک پل دیکھنا، اس پر درود سلام

ہجر بھری جو زندگی عین وصال کرے

اپنا مجھ کو روپ دے، اپنا عاشق ہو

جو بھی اس کا حال ہے میرا حال کرے

سارے سوال آسان ہیں مشکل ایک جواب

ہم بھی ایک جواب ہیں کوئی سوال کرے
