میرے جسم میں زہر ہے تیرا

میرا دل ہے تیرا گھر

تو موجود ہے ساتھ ہمیشہ

خوف سا بن کر شام و سحر

تیرا اثر ہے میرے لہو پر

جیسے چاند سمندر پر

اتنی زرد ہے رنگت تیری

جم جاتی ہے اس پہ نظر

تو ہے سزا مرے ہونے کی

یا ہے میرا زاد سفر

کرے گا تو بیمار مجھے یا

بنے گا نا معلوم کا ڈر

رہے گا دائم گہری تہ میں

جیسے اندھیرے میں کوئی در

گم کر دے گا راہ میں مجھ کو

یا دے گا منزل کی خبر

تو ہے میرا دوست کہ دشمن

یہ تو بتا مجھ کو اے زر
