چلتا ہے دشت دشت نوردوں کے ساتھ ساتھ

ہاتھوں کا ربط حرف خفی سے عجیب ہے

ہلتے ہیں ہاتھ راز کی باتوں کے ساتھ ساتھ

اٹھتی ہوئی فصیل‌ فغاں حد شہر پر

گلیوں کی چپ قدیم مکانوں کے ساتھ ساتھ

سورج کی آب زہر ہے رنگوں کی آب کو

ہے دور تک بخار سا باغوں کے ساتھ ساتھ

عریاں ہوا ہے ماہ شب‌ ابر و باد میں

جیسے سفید روشنی غاروں کے ساتھ ساتھ

آیا ہوں میں منیرؔ کسی کام کے لیے

رہتا ہے اک خیال سا خوابوں کے ساتھ ساتھ
