ایسے وہ داستان کھینچتا ہے

ہر یقیں پر گمان کھینچتا ہے

تیری فرقت کا ایک اک لمحہ

جسم سے میری جان کھینچتا ہے

جب بھی میں آسماں کو چھونے لگوں

پاؤں کو مہربان کھینچتا ہے

منزل زیست کے کسی بھی طرف

اپنی جانب نشان کھینچتا ہے

میں حقیقت جہاں بھی لکھتا ہوں

وہ وہی داستان کھینچتا ہے

جب حقیقت بیاں کروں اس کی

میرے منہ سے زبان کھینچتا ہے

سر زمین وطن پہ اب وہ نبیلؔ

اپنا ہر سو مکان کھینچتا ہے
