لاکھ چاہا مگر نہ جا کے گئی

ایک عرصہ ہوا کبھی نہ کھلی

دل پہ جو گرہ وہ لگا کے گئی

رات غم کی کٹے نہیں کٹتی

صبح اک پل میں مسکرا کے گئی

مان ٹوٹے تو پھر نہیں جڑتا

بد گمانی کبھی نہ آ کے گئی

اے نعیمؔ اب نہ واپسی ہوگی

بارہا زندگی بتا کے گئی
