اک شعلۂ حسرت ہوں مٹا کیوں نہیں دیتے

مجھ کو مرے جینے کہ سزا کیوں نہیں دیتے

میں جن کے لئے روز صلیبوں پہ چڑھا ہوں

وہ میری وفاؤں کا صلہ کیوں نہیں دیتے

کیوں درد کی شدت کو بڑھاتے ہو طبیبو

اس درد مسلسل کی دوا کیوں نہیں دیتے

سنتا ہوں کہ ہر موڑ پہ رہبر ہیں مگر وہ

مجھ کو میری منزل کا پتہ کیوں نہیں دیتے

کچھ بات نفسؔ دل میں لئے بیٹھے ہو کب سے

آئے ہو یہاں تک تو بتا کیوں نہیں دیتے
