گرفت حرف سے باہر نکل رہا ہوں ابھی

وہ ایک تو کہ ہوا کی طرح گزر بھی چکا

وہ ایک میں کہ فقط ہاتھ مل رہا ہوں ابھی

مری نمود کسی جسم کی تلاش میں ہے

میں روشنی ہوں اندھیروں میں چل رہا ہوں ابھی

کشادہ برگ رہیں ہجر کے گھنے سائے

ترے وصال کے صحرا میں جل رہا ہوں ابھی

سحر کے رنگ مری راکھ سے جنم لیں گے

نجیبؔ رات کی آنکھوں میں جل رہا ہوں ابھی
