محبتوں کا صلہ نہیں ہے

لبوں پہ حرف دعا نہیں ہے

نہیں وہ تصویر پاس میرے

سو ہاتھ میرا جلا نہیں ہے

میں اپنی لو میں ہی جل رہی ہوں

جو بجھ گیا وہ دیا نہیں ہے

بس اک پیالی ہے میز پر اور

وہ منتظر اب مرا نہیں ہے

لکھا جنم دن پہ اس کو میں نے

وہ خط بھی اس کو ملا نہیں ہے

میں کس لیے پار جاؤں شاہینؔ

وہاں مرا نا خدا نہیں ہے
