مثل صحرا ہے رفاقت کا چمن بھی اب کے
جل بجھا اپنے ہی شعلوں میں بدن بھی اب کے
خار و خس ہوں تو شرر خیزیاں دیکھوں پھر سے
آنکھ لے آئی ہے اک ایسی کرن بھی اب کے
ہم تو وہ پھول جو شاخوں پہ یہ سوچیں پہروں
کیوں صبا بھول گئی اپنا چلن بھی اب کے
منزلوں تک نظر آتا ہے شکستوں کا غبار
ساتھ دیتی نہیں ایسے میں تھکن بھی اب کے
منسلک ایک ہی رشتے میں نہ ہو جائے کہیں
ترے ماتھے ترے بستر کی شکن بھی اب کے
بے گناہی کے لبادے کو اتارو بھی نصیرؔ
راس آ جائے اگر جرم سخن بھی اب کے

aankh le aai hai ek aisi kiran bhi ab ke
hum to wo phul jo shaKHon pe ye sochen pahron
kyun saba bhul gai apna chalan bhi ab ke
manzilon tak nazar aata hai shikaston ka ghubar
sath deti nahin aise mein thakan bhi ab ke
munsalik ek hi rishte mein na ho jae kahin
tere mathe tere bistar ki shikan bhi ab ke
be-gunahi ke libaade ko utaro bhi 'nasir'
ras aa jae agar jurm-e-suKHan bhi ab ke
