اس خرابے میں یہ دیوار کہاں سے آئی

آج کھلنے ہی کو تھا درد محبت کا بھرم

وہ تو کہئے کہ اچانک ہی تری یاد آئی

بس یوں ہی دل کو توقع سی ہے تجھ سے ورنہ

جانتا ہوں کہ مقدر ہے مرا تنہائی

نشہ‌ٔ تلخیٔ ایام اترتا ہی نہیں

تیری نظروں نے گلابی تو بہت چھلکائی

یوں تو ہر شخص اکیلا ہے بھری دنیا میں

پھر بھی ہر دل کے مقدر میں نہیں تنہائی

ڈوبتے چاند پہ روئی ہیں ہزاروں آنکھیں

میں تو رویا بھی نہیں تم کو ہنسی کیوں آئی

رات بھر جاگتے رہتے ہو بھلا کیوں ناصرؔ

تم نے یہ دولت بیدار کہاں سے پائی
