اپنا سر اپنی ہتھیلی پہ سنبھالے نکلے

اپنا سر اپنی ہتھیلی پہ سنبھالے نکلے

زندگی یوں بھی ترے چاہنے والے نکلے

مشعلیں تند ہواؤں میں چلے ہیں لے کر

تیرے عشاق زمانے سے نرالے نکلے

ساتھ چھوڑا نہ رہ شوق میں آخر دم تک

کتنے دم ساز مرے پاؤں کے چھالے نکلے

تیرگی غم کی بڑھی حد سے تو آنسو بن کر

دل کے روزن سے امیدوں کے اجالے نکلے

خوں بہا مانگتے ہم اپنا تو کس سے آخر

جتنے قاتل تھے وہ سب چاہنے والے نکلے

پرسش حال کی امید تھی جن سے ناطقؔ

وہ بھی ہونٹوں پہ لگائے ہوئے تالے نکلے

mashalen tund hawaon mein chale hain le kar
