بہار صبح نے گل کو رلا کے چھوڑ دیا

بہار صبح نے گل کو رلا کے چھوڑ دیا
شراب ناب کو شبنم بنا کے چھوڑ دیا
کوئی بتائے کہ اس ناخدا کو کیا کہیے
سفینہ جس نے بھنور میں پھنسا کے چھوڑ دیا
وہ سخت جاں ہوں کہ جب کامیاب ہو نہ سکی
تری جفا نے مجھے آزما کے چھوڑ دیا
تری نظر کی بہار آفرینیوں کے نثار
کہ زخم دل کو گل تر بنا کے چھوڑ دیا
ستم ہے تیری جفائے وفا نما کہ مجھے
جفا و جور کا خوگر بنا کے چھوڑ دیا
وہی ہے زمزمہ پیرا دلوں میں اے نیرؔ
جسے نصیب نے شاعر بنا کے چھوڑ دیا

koi batae ki is naKHuda ko kya kahiye
safina jis ne bhanwar mein phansa ke chhoD diya
wo saKHt-jaan hun ki jab kaamyab ho na saki
teri jafa ne mujhe aazma ke chhoD diya
teri nazar ki bahaar-afriniyon ke nisar
ki zaKHm-e-dil ko gul-e-tar bana ke chhoD diya
sitam hai teri jafa-e-wafa-numa ki mujhe
jafa-o-jaur ka KHugar bana ke chhoD diya
wahi hai zamzama-paira dilon mein ai 'nayyar'
jise nasib ne shair bana ke chhoD diya
