جتنا اداس ہے وہ اتنا اداس ہوں میں
اس کو بھی دیکھ کر یہ دل خوش نہیں ہوا ہے
اس بات سے سمجھ لو کتنا اداس ہوں میں
وہ جب مجھے ملا تھا اتنی خوشی نہیں تھی
کھونے کے بعد اس کو جتنا اداس ہوں میں
میری خوشی کی خاطر چھوڑی ہے جس نے دنیا
اک خط اسے لکھو تم لکھنا اداس ہوں میں
جو چھوڑ کر گئے ہیں اک بات وہ بھی سن لیں
تنہا نہیں ہوں اب بھی مانا اداس ہوں میں
