انسان ہیں حیوان یہاں بھی ہے وہاں بھی

اللہ نگہبان یہاں بھی ہے وہاں بھی

خوں خوار درندوں کے فقط نام الگ ہیں

ہر شہر بیابان یہاں بھی ہے وہاں بھی

ہندو بھی سکوں سے ہے مسلماں بھی سکوں سے

انسان پریشان یہاں بھی ہے وہاں بھی

رحمان کی رحمت ہو کہ بھگوان کی مورت

ہر کھیل کا میدان یہاں بھی ہے وہاں بھی

اٹھتا ہے دل و جاں سے دھواں دونوں طرف ہی

یہ میرؔ کا دیوان یہاں بھی ہے وہاں بھی
