مگر نگاہ میں تھوڑا سا انتظار بھی رکھ

خدا کے ہاتھ میں مت سونپ سارے کاموں کو

بدلتے وقت پہ کچھ اپنا اختیار بھی رکھ

یہ ہی لہو ہے شہادت یہ ہی لہو پانی

خزاں نصیب سہی ذہن میں بہار بھی رکھ

گھروں کے طاقوں میں گلدستے یوں نہیں سجتے

جہاں ہیں پھول وہیں آس پاس خار بھی رکھ

پہاڑ گونجیں ندی گائے یہ ضروری ہے

سفر کہیں کا ہو دل میں کسی کا پیار بھی رکھ
