اطہرؔ نفیس کے لئے

نور پرکار

میرا غم معتبر تھا

تکلف کی قبا نوچ کر جس نے

معصوم رنگ آتشیں بھرا تھا

تخلیق کے بند جذبوں کو

اخلاق کے ہاتھوں پر دھرا تھا

زندگی جس کے لئے

دار تھی

کوئے دل دار بھی

روح کی تفسیر بھی

رنگ حنا کی تنویر بھی

برداشت جس نے کی

آرزوؤں کی تضحیک بھی

مقدس جذبات کی تذلیل بھی

لبوں پر جس کے

کتنے اعتراضات تھے

نہاں جس کے دل میں

کتنے اعتراضات تھے

کچھ سطور

کچھ سطور کے درمیاں بھی تھا

کہیں تحریک

کہیں ٹھہراؤ کا سماں بھی تھا

کہیں خواب

کہیں خوابوں کا صورت گر بھی تھا

ہم اور تم جسے نہ جان سکے

اس کے خوابوں کو نہ پہچان سکے

mera gham mo'atabar tha
takalluf ki qaba noch kar jis ne
masum rang-e-atshin bhara tha
taKHliq ke band jazbon ko
aKHlaq ke hathon par dhara tha
zindagi jis ke liye
dar thi
ku-e-dildar bhi
ruh ki tafsir bhi
rang-e-hina ki tanwir bhi
bardasht jis ne ki
aarzuon ki tazhik bhi

nihan jis ke dil mein
kitne etaraazat the

hum aur tum jise na jaan sake
us ke KHwabon ko na pahchan sake
