آئینہ تو آج بھی ہے کہکشانی رنگ کا

ہجر کے بادل چھٹے تو وصل کی تقویم میں

دل ہویدا ہو رہا ہے گلستانی رنگ کا

پیرہن اس کا ہے ایسا یا جھلکتا ہے بدن

اک پری وش رقص میں ہے ارغوانی رنگ کا

آج کی شب خاص ہوگی جب سناؤں گا اسے

ایک قصہ اپنا ذاتی داستانی رنگ کا

دوستوں کی مہربانی سے ہوا یہ کام بھی

میں نے دیکھا ہی نہیں تھا خون پانی رنگ کا

گر دلوں سے یوں دھواں اٹھتا رہے گا رات دن

آسماں کیسے بچے گا آسمانی رنگ کا

ہاں اسی نے پھول ٹانکے ہوں گے ان اشجار پر

جس نے مٹی کو دیا ہے جبہ دھانی رنگ کا
