یہ آتے جاتے رنگ نہ ہوں اور لفظوں کی تنویر نہ ہو

اے راہ عشق کے راہی سن چل ایسے سفر کی لذت میں

تری آنکھوں میں نئے خواب تو ہوں پر خوابوں کی تعبیر نہ ہو

گھر آؤں یا باہر جاؤں ہر ایک فضا میں میرے لیے

اک جھوٹی سچی چاہت ہو رسموں کی کوئی زنجیر نہ ہو

جیسے یہ مری اپنی صورت مرے سامنے ہو اور کہتی ہو

مرے شاعر تیرے ساتھ ہوں میں مایوس نہ ہو دلگیر نہ ہو

کوئی ہو تو محبت ایسی ہو مجھے دھوپ اور سائے میں جس کے

کسی جذبے کا آزار نہ ہو کسی خواہش کی تعزیر نہ ہو
