اس کی کشتی کو سر ساحل ڈبونا چاہئے

چھین کر ساری امیدیں مجھ سے وہ کہتا ہے اب

کشت دل میں آرزو کا بیج بونا چاہئے

اس سمندر کی کثافت آنکھ میں چبھنے لگی

اس کا چہرہ اور ہی پانی سے دھونا چاہئے

سونپ جائیں ان درختوں کو نشانی نام کی

ہم کبھی تھے اگلی رت کو علم ہونا چاہئے

یہ بھی کوئی تک ہوئی کہ کچھ ہوا تو رو پڑے

شخصیت کا رنگ فکریؔ یوں نہ کھونا چاہئے
