میں آندھیوں میں بکھر رہا ہوں

کسی بھی صورت نہ چین پاؤں

یہ کس تجسس میں مر رہا ہوں

میں سرخیوں میں کہاں سے ہوتا

میں حاشیے کی خبر رہا ہوں

سبھوں کو جانا ہے پار لیکن

میں پار جانے سے ڈر رہا ہوں

نہ میری منزل نہ کوئی جادہ

ازل سے گرد سفر رہا ہوں

مجھے تو مرنا تھا غم میں فکریؔ

میں غم میں جل کر نکھر رہا ہوں
