اپنے پن کے باشندوں کو میرا تیرا کیا معلوم

سورج بولے تو سو جائیں سورج بولے تو جاگیں

کیا جانیں یہ دیا جلانا ان کو اندھیرا کیا معلوم

خواب کا جھوٹ جیون سچ میں تل تل مرنا جن کا بھاگ

یہ راتوں کے قیدی ان کو سانجھ سویرا کیا معلوم

بستی سے باہر سانپوں نے بھی تو کچھ پھونکا ہوگا

آدھی راہ سے لوٹا ہو مہمان سپیرا کیا معلوم

باندھی تھیں آشائیں کیا کیا ہم نے اب کے موسم سے

رحمانیؔ اب کون سی رت میں پھولے بہیرا کیا معلوم
