تلاش پھر کوئی کھوئی سی رہ گزار میں تھی

پھر آج اک شام صبح کے انتظار میں تھی

وجود گرچہ ہواؤں کی زد پہ تھا ہمارا

چراغ کی لو ہتھیلیوں کے حصار میں تھی

نگاہ کے سارے اختیارات سلب سے تھے

کشش نہ جانے وہ کون سی خار زار میں تھی

امید سے تھیں یہاں وہاں تک تمام آنکھیں

طلب برہنہ وصال کے کار زار میں تھی

اسے مصور نے روشنی سے بدن کیا ہے

اندھیری خوشبو جو دیدۂ خواب کار میں تھی

وقار قائم نہ رکھ سکی دوسرے بدن پر

انا بہت معتبر تھی جب خاکسار میں تھی

خیال پرویزؔ دائرہ بند ہو گیا تھا

یقین سی کوئی چیز قرب و جوار میں تھی
