روتی ہی رہی روح سو گاتے ہی رہے ہم

جل اٹھنے میں جل بجھنے میں اک لمحہ لگا تھا

پھر خواب سر دید اڑاتے ہی رہے ہم

ہر خندۂ بے تاب تھا مقتول ہمارا
