دن گزرتے ہیں جو اندیشہ و افکار کے ساتھ

دل دھڑکتا ہے مگر رنج گراں بار کے ساتھ

سینکڑوں برسوں پہ پھیلی ہیں حکایات مگر

واقعے ایک سے وابستہ ہیں تلوار کے ساتھ

یوں تو سنگینی و بالا قدی اچھی ہے مگر

ایک سائے کا تصور بھی ہے دیوار کے ساتھ

اب کھلا اپنی ہی جانب یہ سفر ہے کہ یہاں

فاصلے اور بڑھے گرمئ رفتار کے ساتھ

کسی تنہا سے عجب گرمئ بازار رہی

ایک انبوہ تمنا تھا خریدار کے ساتھ
