سانحہ نہیں ٹلتا سانحے پہ رونے سے

حبس جاں نہ کم ہوگا بے لباس ہونے سے

اب تو میرا دشمن بھی میری طرح روتا ہے

کچھ گلے تو کم ہوں گے ساتھ ساتھ رونے سے

متن زیست تو سارا بے نمود لگتا ہے

درد بے نہایت کا حاشیہ نہ ہونے سے

سچے شعر کا کھلیان اور بھرتا جاتا ہے

درد کی زمینوں میں غم کی فصل بونے سے

حادثات پیہم کا یہ مآل ہے شاید

کچھ سکون ملتا ہے اب سکون کھونے سے

کس ہنر سے یاروں نے داستاں رقم کر لی

میرے خون دل میں ہی انگلیاں ڈبونے سے
