بیڑی یہ مِرے پاؤں میں پہنا تو رہے ہو

پِھر عہد خُودی توڑ کے تُم جا تو رہے ہو

پلکوں کی مُنڈیروں پہ پرِندوں کو اُڑاؤ

تسلِیم کیا تُم مُجھے سمجھا تو رہے ہو

پچھتاوا نہ ہو کل، یہ قدم سوچ کے لینا

جذبات میں اُلفت کی قسم کھا تو رہے ہو

سمجھایا تھا کل کِتنا مگر باز نہ آئے

کیا ہو گا ابھی مانا کہ پچھتا تو رہے ہو

رہنے بھی ابھی دِیجِیے اشکوں کا تکلُّف

جب جانتے ہو دِل پہ سِتم ڈھا تو رہے ہو

اب ایک نئے طرزِ رفاقت پہ عمل ہو

تُم بِیچ میں لوگوں کے بھی تنہا تو رہے ہو

کل ٹھوکروں میں جگ کی کہِیں چھوڑ نہ دینا

اِک درد زدہ شخص کو اپنا تو رہے ہو

اِنسان کبھی رِزق سے بھی سیر ہُؤا ہے

تقدِیر میں تھا جِتنا لِکھا پا تو رہے ہو

اِس میں بھی کوئی رمز، کوئی فلسفہ ہو گا

حسرتؔ جی ابھی جھوم کے تم گا تو رہے ہو
