پروفیسر رشید حسرت
بِک جائیں گےھم، حُسن خرِیدار اگر ھے
نِمٹیں گے کوئی بر سرِ پیکار اگر ھے
کل اُس سے ہمیشہ کو تِری جان چُھٹے گی
اِک رات کا مہمان ھے، بِیمار اگر ھے
بس ایک نظر دل کے صحِیفے کی طرف دیکھ
پھر شوق سے کر جان تُو اِنکار اگر ھے
ھونٹوں کو بھلے جُنبش الفاظ گِراں ھو
آنکھوں ھی سےکر ڈالیئے اِظہار اگر ھے
لو کل سے نئی سمت کا کرتے ھیں تعیّن
اے دوست بِچھڑنے کا ھی اِصرار اگر ھے
ھم جِس کےلیئے عُمر گنوا بیٹھے ہیں یارو
رکھ لے گا بھرم صاحبِ کِردار اگر ھے
اے جانِ رشِیدؔ اِس کا سبب تُم تو نہیں ہو
یہ خاک نشِیں جان سے بیزار اگر ھے
