چھوڑ جاتے ہی
پروفیسر رشید حسرت
مِلا ہے دِل کو سُکوں تیرے پاس آتے ہی
کِھلی ہے کوئی کلی گِیت گُنگنائے ہی
میں اپنی آنکھوں کی کم مائگی پہ نادِم ہوں
چھلک پڑی ہیں یہ کم ظرف مُسکراتے ہی
میں نامُراد بھلا تھا، بتاؤں کیا لوگو
ہزاروں درد ملے اک خُوشی کے آتے ہی
مُجھے یہ دُکھ کہ مُحبّت میں کُچھ نہ کر پایا
تُو رو پڑا ہے مگر مُجھ کو آزماتے ہی
تُجھے خبر ہے یہاں اب ہے راج زردی کا
نگر اُجاڑ ہُؤا تیرے چھوڑ جاتے ہی
غِلاف چہروں پہ جِن کے تھے عاجزی کے کبھی
بدل گئے ہیں وہ رُخ اِقتدار پاتے ہی
نِڈھال غم سے وہ چُپ چاپ تھا مگر یارو
بِلک کے رویا ہے احساس کے جگاتے ہی چھوڑ جاتے ہی
تُجھی سے رنگ تھے محفِل کے، تیرا جانا تھا
چراغ زرد پڑے محفلیں سجاتے ہی
رشِیدؔ اُس نے نئی زِیست کی بِنا ڈالی
مِری اُمید کے سارے دِیئے بُجھاتے ہی
