پروفیسر رشید حسرت
اور جب غم کے موسم اُترنے لگیں لوٹ آنا
لوگ تُجھ پر جو اِلزام دھرنے لگیں لوٹ آنا
میرے در وا رہیں گے تُمہارے لِیئے یاد رکھنا
زرد پتے کبھی جب بِکھر نے لگیں لوٹ آنا
درد لمحوں کا تیرے بدن کو ڈسے گا خبر ھے
اِس سے پہلے کہ سب دوست مرنے لگیں لوٹ آنا
جو تِری رُوح کے زخم سے آشنا ہی نہیں ہیں
ایسے انصار ھِجرت جو کرنے لگیں لوٹ آنا
گاؤں کی سمت مشرق میں بہتی ندی یاد ہو گی
اب وہاں قافلے جب اُترنے لگیں لوٹ آنا
آج کل تیرے حسرتؔ پہ محرُومِیوں کے ہیں سائے
اور یُوں ہو کہ ھم اِن سے ڈرنے لگیں لوٹ آنا
