خُون ہے ارزان
پروفیسر رشید حسرت
مہنگائی کا اب آیا ہے طُوفان یقیناً
توڑے ہیں حُکمرانوں نے پیمان یقیناً
مزدُور کو پابند کِیا گھر پہ بِٹھایا
دو وقت کی اب اِس کو نہیں نان یقیناً
اِنسان کی توہین کبھی اِتنی نہیں تھی
روٹی ھے گِراں خُون ھے ارزان یقیناً
جِس حُکم پہ دھقان کی مِحنت کا صِلہ ضبط
تحقِیر کے لائق ہے وہ فرمان یقیناً
جِس گاؤں میں افلاس میں دِن ھم نے گُزارے
اب ہوں گے وہاں موت کے سامان یقیناً
ہر ظُلم پہ جب بند رکھے آنکھ قیادت
تب تخت کے تختے کا ہے اِمکان یقیناً
جِس شخص نے تنویر مُجھے عِلم کی بخشی
اُس کا ہے بڑا مُجھ پہ یہ احسان یقیناً
جو دل کے کھرے اُن پہ کڑا وقت بھلے ہو
منزل بھی مگر اُن کی ہے آسان یقیناً
اے دیس کی مٹی تُجھے شاداب رکھیں گے
دہقان بڑھائیں گے تِری شان یقیناً
سچ پُوچِھیئے رشِیدؔ ہمِی جُھوٹ بھرے ہیں
دینی ہے خُدا ہی کو ہمیں جان یقیناً
