پروفیسر رشید حسرت
کُچھ اور بھی ھے وہ تنہا سا ہارنے کے بعد
اُلجھ گیا تیری زُلفیں سن٘وارنے کے بعد
ابھی تو جِسم کی طاقت کو پِھر سمیٹنا ھے
میں بے سکت ھُؤا دُشمن کو مارنے کے بعد
کُھلا کہ وُہ تو کِسی اور کی امانت تھا
کِسی کے حُسن کا صدقہ اُتارنے کے بعد
تمام عُمر کی پُونجی بھی ساتھ چھوڑ گئی
جہیز کے لئے قرضہ اُتارنے کے بعد
نجانے کون سے صحرا میں آ گیا ھُوں میں
گُداز سائے میں گھڑیاں گُزارنے کے بعد
خُود اپنی ذات سے شائد بِچھڑ گیا ھوں میں
اُس ایک شخص کو مُڑ کر پُکارنے کے بعد
رشید وقت نے مُٹھی میں اپنی بِھینچ لِیا
ھزاروں خواہِشیں دِل میں اُبھارنے کے بعد
