پروفیسر رشید حسرت
سلسلہ چلتا رہے گا میرے دل کے بعد بھی
جو نگر اجڑا ھےاب، تھا یہ کبھی آباد بھی
اس قفس سے اس قدر مانوس طبیعت ھو گئی
چھوڑ کر جاوں نہ ہرگز وہ کریں آزاد بھی
شب گزیدہ ھوں مجھے تاروں کی چھاوں سے ہے ڈر
دل کا خوں کرنے چلے آئے ہیں تیرا زاد بھی
مدتوں سے کوئی سندیسہ نہ آنے کی خبر
اب انہیں شائد ھی آتی ہو ہماری یاد بھی
چاند بھی جوبن پہ اپنے رات بھی مستی بھری
دور کوئی چھیڑ دے بنسی پہ اک فریاد بھی
کر دیا حالات کی چکی نے بھی شیریں کو چور
اور کچھ ھے خود غرض اس دور کا فریاد بھی
نوجواں نے تلخئ حالات سے کی خود کشی
اور حسرت آگ میں جھونکی ہیں سب اسناد بھی
