پروفیسر رشید حسرت
میں تُجھ کو کروں یاد یا تُو مُجھ کو کرے یاد
ماضی کے جھروکوں میں عجب رنگ بھرے یاد
یہ کِس نے کہا وقت نے دُھندلائے تِرے نقش
فانوس جلے رکھتا ہوں پلکوں پہ سرِ یاد
چہرے پہ مِرے وقت نے بھبُوت رمائی
اب تو ہے وُہی بات کہ خُود مُجھ سے ڈرے یاد
اک عُمر ہوئی پیار کا تابُوت اُٹھائے
ہر شئے پہ فنا آئی ہے ہرگز نہ مرے یاد
کیوں دل کی گواہی پہ یقیں آتا نہیں ہے
کرتا ہے کوئی مُجھ کو اِن آنکھوں سے پرے یاد
جِتنا بھی کِیا ترکِ محبّت کا اِرادہ
ہر روز مگر اور ہی بہرُوپ بھرے یاد
تُو نے ہی نہیں مُجھ کو کِیا یاد وگرنہ
کُھلتے ہی چلے جاتے مِرے دوست درِ یاد
کُچھ زخم تعلّق سے تِرے پِیپ بھرے تھے
کُچھ درد رہا ساتھ مِرے کار گرِ یاد
شُہرت کے فلک نے جو مُجھے خاک پہ پٹخا
تب جا کے رشیدؔ آئے ہیں وہ دوست کھرے یاد
