طلب کی آگ کسی شعلہ رو سے روشن ہے

خیال ہو کہ نظر آرزو سے روشن ہے

جنم جنم کے اندھیروں کو دے رہا ہے شکست

وہ اک چراغ کہ اپنے لہو سے روشن ہے

کہیں ہجوم حوادث میں کھو کے رہ جاتا

جمال یار مری جستجو سے روشن ہے

یہ تابش لب لعلیں یہ شعلۂ آواز

تمام بزم تری گفتگو سے روشن ہے

وصال یار تو ممکن نہیں مگر ناصح

رخ حیات اسی آرزو سے روشن ہے
